When someone asks me what router to get, or which printer will stop eating money, this is the list I send them. Nothing is here because a brand paid for it. It is here because I have set it up, it works, and I do not get called back about it.

Start with the cheapest one that solves your actual problem, because the expensive version is usually solving a problem you do not have. You will see Anker and UGREEN come up a lot, and that is on purpose. For anything that plugs in, charges, or connects, those two are what I buy for myself. Their cheap gear still works, which is not true of most of the no name stuff on Amazon. If you get stuck, just ask me and I will tell you straight.
