I had never used Apple products until the last couple of years. What pushed me was the constant annoyance of Windows, the updates, the bloat, and buying new computers that felt slow and laggy even sitting on the desktop.
Upgrading to the MacBook was the best investment I have made. It was affordable and the speed is unreal. I push it hard, coding, building video games, video editing, all my client work, and it does not break a sweat.
The biggest thing is the battery. My last laptop did well to get an hour and a half. This one goes all day, and sometimes gives me a day and a half.
Now when I touch a Windows computer it feels like a generational leap backwards. Would I buy it again? Yes.
